Gynaecology
Before being referred to the Community Gynaecology you will have discussed treatment of your condition with your GP. Once you have been referred to us you will be invited to come to one of our clinics where you will you will receive a full consultation with an experienced Clinician. This will include the diagnosis of the underlying condition and the subsequent management and treatment. Our Clinicians will be happy to talk with you about any concerns you may have, and will explain in everyday terms the options available for treatment.
Your first full consultation is typically 20 minutes and the Clinician will advise on whether any procedures are required or follow up appointments to monitor progress and the appropriate frequency.
All appointments will be confirmed in a letter or appointment card with the date, time and any additional information required.
When visiting us, please bring along with you:
- Your appointment letter or appointment card
- A list of any questions you would like to ask

Cancelling an Appointment:
