Dermatology

Your skin plays a vital role in protecting your body from external infection and disease. Any changes to your skin could be a signal to your overall health; so it is important to monitor and look after your skin.

Dermatologist’s are qualified to diagnose and treat over 3,000 diseases. At Mayflower Healthcare Alliance our specialist’s routinely treat skin cancer, eczema, acne, psoriasis and nail, hair and fungal infections.

If you experience any changes to your skin that you feel aren’t normal you should seek advice from your GP. Should your GP suspect a dermatology problem they can then refer you to us, where you will be treated by our expert team of Dermatology clinicians.

At Mayflower Healthcare Alliance, we offer service’s to any patient registered with a GP within the Basildon & Brentwood and Thurrock area who requires more specialist care for their conditions.

All patients referred to us will be allocated an initial appointment, where your Clinician will diagnose your condition and determine the  most effective course of treatment. Where appropriate, the treatment process could then continue with a follow up appointment and in some cases a  minor procedure.
